Gaz Regan's Cocktail Competition at the Manhattan Cocktail Classic

Would you like to have one of your original cocktails presented by Gaz Regan, cocktailian and author of the recent The Bartender's Gin Compendium, at this year's Manhattan Cocktail Classic? Five members of the Ardent Spirits Bartender Database are about to experience just that. Here's how you stand a chance of being one of them:

Create a new drink that calls for one of these fine products:

• Bernheim Wheat Whiskey
• Rittenhouse Rye Whiskey
• Lunazul 100% Agave Tequila
• PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur
• Dubonnet Rouge

Gaz will pick one winning recipe for each of the products above, and he'll gush about all five of them at a special presentation at the Manhattan Cocktail Classic in May this year.

Criteria
Gaz will be looking for creativity coupled with simplicity in this competition. Cocktails should show an understanding of ingredients, and they should also be relatively easy to prepare, so don't go smoking lavender over mesquite chips and infusing Shochu with it, okay?

What Else is in it For You?
Each of the five winners will get a fabulous work of art created by Gaz that specifically focuses on each winning cocktail, and it's creator (you're gonna have to send pics of yourself if you win). The work of art will be one of Gaz's spectacular Cocktail Mandalas.
